Tour Overview

The Lemosho Route is widely regarded as the most beautiful path to Uhuru Peak, offering superb scenery, excellent acclimatisation, and the highest summit success rates of any Kilimanjaro route.

Beginning on the western Shira Plateau, the route traverses the full breadth of Kilimanjaro through pristine rainforest, giant heather moorland, the surreal alpine desert, and finally the arctic glaciers of the summit zone. The 8-day itinerary provides optimal altitude gain, with the proven "climb high, sleep low" strategy maximising your chances of standing on the Roof of Africa.

Our mountain crew — guides, porters, and a camp cook — ensure your comfort and safety at every step, with hot meals, quality camping equipment, and constant altitude monitoring.
